Jammu, Nov 1: Fast Track Court presiding officer Y P Kotwal today awarded one year rigorous imprisonment (RI), besides a fine Rs 10,000, to Prabhjit Singh who was facing trial in a molestation case.
Awarding the sentence, he observed that the prosecution has proved his case beyond doubt and that the accused has committed the offence under section 354 of RPC. With this, he ordered his conviction, awarding him one year RI. A fine of Rs 10,000 was also imposed. (JNF) |
