Bani, Nov 1: BJP MLA Lal Chand while addressing a meeting at his residence today said new entrants from Congress were suffocating the old workers and forcing them to leave the party.
Lal opposed fielding such candidates on party ticket. "if it is not stopped, I would even challenge these by contesting the election independently without thinking about the outcome," he said.
Accrediting himself as party face, he stated "BJP in Bani is just because of me and therefore BJP should take notice of this very seriously before giving mandate to the candidate who has never held any interaction with public openly in Bani segment. "Everything was fixed in closed doors by keeping the public unaware of their hidden agenda, he alleged.
"Some outsiders mainly associated with Congress and NC who used to be hardcore opponents of BJP once, now have entered into the Party through backdoors thus suffocating the hard workers making them to leave the party, he stated. "These intruders have hidden agenda of castism and communalism which will ultimately leads to the extinction of BJP from Bani constituency, he said further adding, " I would also expose their agenda if needed."
"I seek the mandate of public on the basis of work which I have done for the public, he stated while adding, "I challenge that despite remaining in opposition my report card is much better than my opponents who despite being part of remaining in govt failed to deliver anything to masses.
