SRS chief demands probe into faulty Medicare system in GMCH-J | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 13: Shri Ram Sena (SRS) State President, Rajiv Mahajan has expressed serious concern over the faulty medicare system in Government Medical College Hospital (GMCH), Jammu and demanded a high level inquiry over the same problem. Mahajan said that MRI machine which is the most required machinery in the modern health technology often remains out of order. Mahajan said during his visit to GMCH today, he came to know that the MRI machine was out of order for the last 4 days. After enquiring from the official concerned, Mahajan was told that it will take more 15 days to be made functional. Accusing the GMCH administration for allegedly ill- treating the poor patients, Mahajan demanded a high level inquiry in to the purchase and installation of sub standard machinery that mostly remains out of order putting the patients in inconvenience and forcing them to get diagnosis from the private centers. |
