POONCH, Jan 13: To review the status of restoration works under SDRF of infrastructure damaged due to flash floods in September last year, District Development Commissioner, Poonch, M H Malik had a detailed meeting of various departments.
Among others the meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Arvind Sharma, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mumtaz Ali Chowdhary, Assistant Commissioner Development, Showkat Mehmood Malik, Chief Planning Officer, Mohammad Iqbal Zargar, Executive Engineers of PWD (R&B), PDD and I&FC, CEO and CMO.
Various department heads apprised the DDC about the progress achieved so far.
They said barring a few, all restoration works have been completed in most of the sectors.
DDC directed the executing agencies to get all the completed works verified by the committee constituted for verification of restoration of infrastructure headed by Additional District Development Commissioner.
This committee takes up extensive verification of various works undertaken by departments and certifies their genuineness and costing.
DDC issued strict instructions to the departments which are yet to complete some restoration works and fixed specific dates for their completion. |
