| JYF urges Guv for immediate enquiry against Special Secretary to VC | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 11: Jammu Youth Forum (JYF) today urged upon the governor NN Vohra to immediately conduct enquiry against special secretary to Vice Chancellor of Jammu University.
Addressing the Press-conference here today, Deepak Kumar President Jammu Youth Forum (JYF) said that rules and regulations were set at naught by the University administration when Neeraj Sharma did his Ph.D in management studies without seeking study leave under the patronage of Prof RD Sharma whose Special Secretary the latter is functioning.
He further said that as per rule, even for part time course, a scholar has to go for six months course work but Neeraj Sharma completed his work without leave and course work adding that the he was recently assigned with additional charge of Law section of varsity by the authorities which has been dragged by Neeraj Sharma to the court, Deepak claimed.
Expressing his surprise Deepak further pointed out that despite the fact that Neeraj Sharma has filed a case against JU following his demotion effected on basis of recommendation of a high committee constituted by Chancellor, he will head the law section ,thus paving way for the complainant to act as respondent in the Court against his own case. |
