| Bus turn turtle, 28 passengers injured | | |

Samba, Feb 11: A bus turned turtle on middle of the road at Jammu-Pathankot National Highway near Jatwal in district samba here today in which 28 passengers got injured.
According to the reports, the mishap took place at Jammu Pathankot National Highway near Jatwal in district Samba at around 7:35 am when a bus bearing registration No UP22P-9374 was on its way to Jammu from Kathua and on reaching near Jatwal suddenly the driver lost the control and hit a truck bearing registration No Jko2af-0792 from behind. Both vehicles turned turtle due to which vehicular movement was also affected.
After receipt of the information, Police party Ghagwal police station headed by SI Rajeshwar Singh reached the spot and started rescue operation and shifted all the injured to Taruma Health Care Centre Ghagwal.
Doctors referred critical persons to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu for treatment and another were under treatment in Ghagwal Hospital.
In this regard police has taken cognizance the matter and started investigation. |
