| DRYWA appeals govt to streamline functioning of Education deptt | | | Doda, Feb 11: District Rural Youth Welfare Association DRYWA (NGO) has appealed the state government to streamline the functioning of education department in Doda district. They have demanded the posting of honest and hardworking officers at district level. Showing great concern over the neglect of education set up in the especially in rural areas the volunteers of DRYWA have demanded that the state government should take necessary action in this regard. Fareed Ahmed Naik president DRYWA has appealed to Syed Altaf Bukhari Minister for education to personally look into the matter and take necessary action to streamline the education system in Doda district.
He alleged that Ab Latief Batt Principal who was posted as DEPO Doda had brought remarkable change in the planning and monitoring of educational institutions especially in rural areas but unfortunately he has been transferred from the said post. Naik demanded that the said officer should be transferred and posted as DEPO Doda again in the larger interest of the administration. He said that Ab Latief Batt is an honest and dedicated officer and he has always been instrumental in strengthening and improving the academic as well as infrastructural facilities to education across Doda district. Naik has also appealed to MLA Doda Shakti Raj Parihar and Shahab-ud-din Batt district president PDP Doda to recommend it to the higher ups in the government to take necessary action in this regard. |
