Congress condemns Sujawan terror attack, pays tributes to martyrs | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 11: Congress today organized a convention under the supervision of chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma, wherein members presented paid tributes to the martyrs who lost their lives in the Sujawan terrorist attack. The members also observed two minutes silence. During the convention, Congress also presented a resolution, in which Congress delegates condemned the Pak sponsored terrorist attack on the army camp at Sunjwan Jammu in which several precious lives of Jawans and Civilians have been lost and several others seriously injured. They paid rich tributes to those martyred for the nation and pray for peace to the departed souls. They conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for early recovery of those injured in the attack. They salute the bravery of Jawans who have eliminated four terrorists involved in this attack, so far, at the cost of their lives. They also paid rich tributes to all those Jawans of Army, Security forces and police and civilians who sacrificed their lives in the various terrorist attacks in the recent past and in the unabated Pak shelling on LOC and IB in the state. They expressed grave concern over the series of terrorist attacks including over the installations of Army and Security forces and over the continued/unabated shelling on our borders and LOC taking heavy toll of our forces and civilian people and call upon the government of India and state government to effectively deal with the prevailing situation. |
