POF demands FIR against NC Legislator | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 11: Public Opinion Forum (POF), Jammu today condemned the fidayeen attack in Sunjwan area in Jammu as well as anti-national sloganeering by an opposition legislator in J&K Assembly and demanded registration of FIR against NC legislator. In a meeting, the President of the Forum, Parveen Sharma said that Pakistan has become synonym of terrorism and is producing and sheltering terrorists on its land. It has now become the mission of these terrorists to strike in one or the other country and carry out deadly suicide attacks leading to loss of human lives. Particularly with India, their army and rangers resort to heavy unprovoked firing across the border right from Samba up to Poonch where their main aim is to facilitate crossing over of militants into the Indian side. Same terrorists later carry out suicidal attacks on our Army camps, etc., the latest of which is still in progress in Sunjwan, Jammu. Besides crossing over of suicidal squads to this side of the border, a lot of civilian population is affected in so many ways on the border. The members of the POF also expressed grief over the martyrdom of valiant soldiers who laid down their lives due to the sudden and unexpected attack by these Pakistan sponsored terrorists in Sunjwan station. The members took serious exception to sitting MLA of the National Conference party who chanted "Pakistan Zindabad" right inside the Assembly and thereafter even dared to tell the press that he has done nothing wrong. POF also demanded an FIR to be immediately lodged against the legislator and he must be put behind the bars for uttering such anti national words inside the Legislative Assembly. It is only due to the mental attitude of people like him that the whole J&K is suffering on account of Pak-sponsored militancy. We only keep on blaming Pakistan whereas black sheep are very much there in our own country |
