NCP criticizes Government for failure to install surveillance towers | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 11: Nationalist Congress Party has criticized the state government especially the Home Minister for their failure to provide funds for installation of 200 surveillance towers at strategic locations. NCP president Thakur Randir Singh condemned the Fidayeen attack at Sunjwan military station and said that J&K Home Ministry and J&K police is spending crores on providing security to VIP's , Legislatures, Hurriyat and even their family members but did not have funds for not have funds for installation of surveillance towers at more than 200 strategic locations in Jammu. "Unfortunately the recommendations are only in the files which was disclosed in the state Assembly , the state home ministry has failed to release the funds it is a great security lapse which is a cause of frequent attacks on Jammu commented veteran leader", Thakur Randhir Singh. |
