BJP members up in arms against Lone for rasing Pro Pak slogans, demanded FIR, Sedition and Criminal proceedings

Jammu Feb 12: The BJP members led by legislator R S Pathania today created an uproar in JK Assembly over the raising of Pro Pakistan slogans inside Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on Saturday and demanded registration of an FIR, sedition charges and Criminal proceedings against him.
MLA Rajeev Jasrotia, Sat Paul Sharma, Shakti Raj Parihar, Chowdhary Sukhnandan Dr. Gagan Baghat, Daleep Singh Parihar, Ravinder Raina and others also comes in his support and demanded action against Lone for his anti national stand.
Speaking over the issue, R S Pathania said that this house had sovereign on the name of constitution of India added that such things has put the question mark on the credibility of house. He said that earlier a member of the House demanded plebiscite in J&K and now another member raises Pro Pakistan slogans. He said that the Speaker being as custodian of the house should file FIR against NC,s Akbar Lone beside should dismissed him from the membership of the house. He said that NC Working President and Leader of Opposition should come and explain his possession which draws sharp criticism from the NC legislator who comes in support of cornered Lone who was silently witnessing the charges being exchanged from both the side.
Ali Mohammad Sagar who is also General Secretary of the National Conference said that Omar Abdullah had already cleared his stand over the issue and did not required anything else now.
"Did you feel we required the certificate of nationalist from you people " Altaf Kaloo shouted at agitating BJP members.
MLA M Y Traigami says that J&K is passing through critical period where efforts are being made to divide the people on communal lines. He says that National Conference has a history of sacrifices added that at the time when Speaker has already expunge the words from the official record, it is now unnecessary to raise and discuss such issues inside the assembly.
Deputy Speaker also intervene and requested both the side not to give space to such issues and requested both the side to allow functioning of the house on the last day of the session.
In between some NC legislator brought Speaker remarks in between and blame the Speaker for provoking Lone to raise Pro Pakistan slogans.
On which speaker strongly reacted. Speaker says he makes a statement which in no mean is anti national, however the statement of Lone is anti national and against the ethics of constitution, Speaker maintain.
As the heated arguments between the BJP and NC legislator continues, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Abdul Rehman Veeri interrupted and requested the BJP members to take the seats. He says that the words had already been expunge from the official records and ask the agitating BJP members to end the matter.
Speaker again intervene and says that people learn from mistakes and hope that all the members of the house rectified themselves and will not repeat such mistakes in future. He later carry on with question hour peacefully.
