Plus-2 Lecturers' Forum calls on Minister for Education

Jammu, Feb 13: A delegation of All J&K Plus-2 Lecturers' Forum called on Minister for Education Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari under the chairmanship of Deepak Sharma, President of the Forum and discussed various issues confronting Plus-2 community and sought his personal intervention in their redressal.
Deepak Sharma thanked Minister for his personal efforts in putting provision of Time Bound Promotion in favour of All Gazetted employees of the State including Plus-2 Lecturers in the Budget and hoped that government will soon give practical shape to the Running Grade/Time Bound Promotion in favour of Plus-2 Lecturers.
The forum also decided to celebrate Annual Lecturers Day which is its regular feature in the month of April and invited Education Minister on a suitable date convenient to him. The delegation also demanded regularization of all incharge incumbents including Joint Directors and equivalents, CEOs and equivalents, Principals and Lecturers pending for years together. The delegation also sought Minister's personal intervention in release of Promotion Lists of Principals and Sr. Lecturers at the rate of 1/3rd of the Cadre Strength.
The delegation also demanded fixation of Induction Quota in favour of Plus-2 Lecturers to KAS Cadre and Repatriation of Joint Directors from KAS cadre working in Education Department to their parent cadre.
Delegation also demanded issuance of formal order for exemption of Plus-2 Lecturers from SRO-202 as per Cabinet decision at the earliest.
