Pvt B.Ed colleges manage experts of their choice for TP
'CDC and Education Deptt authorities in nexus to fudge list'

Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 13: It seems that there is no end to the list of scams in University of Jammu (JU) as the latest in the series is conduct of Final Teaching Practice (TP) in private B.Ed colleges affiliated to the university wherein examiners are being picked by the authorities in violation of the norms so as to facilitate excellent score to students.
According to sources, the Project Director had prepared the list of approved examiners and allotted duties for examining the Final Teaching Practice in private B.Ed colleges but the people at the helm of affairs at Department of Education with the active connivance of Colleges Development Council (CDC) by-passed the same so as to extend illegitimate favour to the students of private B.Ed colleges.
Sources revealed that people in Department of Education ignored the roaster prepared by the Project Director and sending experts of their own choice so as to please the owners of private B.Ed colleges who wanted examiners of their choice to give excellent marks to the students on Teaching Practice.
"The authorities in Department of Education are totally in line with the CDC authorities to extend illegitimate benefit to the students of private B.Ed colleges. Had the allotted examiners gone to observe Teaching Practice it would have been difficult for students to score easily? Hence, in order to enhance the reputation of their colleges in Teaching Practice result the owners of private B.Ed colleges worked out nexus with University authorities and got examiners of their own choice illegal mean, one of the senior Professors revealed.
The JU official, considered close to the Vice Chancellor, having many allegations against his name has been recently posted at Colleges Development Council. Sources said the said official minted huge sum of money by taking fairly large number of examination duties, claimed fake remuneration and also misused the University vehicles but the Vice Chancellor shielded him in all the cases of corruption and posted at plum positions instead of attaching him with the Registry.
"Matter should be probed and it shall be examined whether the approved examiners were sent for the duty as per the list prepared by the Project Director or same was fudged", said a senior professor pleading anonymity.
"The VC knows everything and he himself have close links with some of the B.Ed colleges which drops enough of hint about the nexus and the same is required to be exposed," the senior Professor said adding that the same is being done with the consent of Vice Chancellor Prof Ramji Dass Sharma.
