ASKPC extends wishes to KP community on Mahashivratari
2/13/2018 10:04:23 PM

Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 13: Wishing the exiled community members a happy, prosperous & a peaceful Maha Shivratri, President All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference, advocate Ravinder Raina hoped that Lord Shiva would lift the dark clouds of violence from the State and restore peace & brotherhood to the beleaguered State & the Kashmiri Pandit community.
Addressing the Executive Body & a large gathering of community members on eve of Maha Shivratri, Advocate Raina paid homage to the martyrs of recent terrorist attack at Sunjwan army camp and urged the Government to take effective remedial measures to prevent such incidents in future, with the hard reality of expecting no change in the perverse mentality of the Pakistan Govt. supported Islamic fundamentalists. At the same time he urged the state politicians & legislators to shun empty rhetoric and work genuinely for establishing peace in the state and not raise anti India passions among the misguided sections of the state. Complementing the community elders for their wisdom & foresight, General Secretary ASKPC, Dr Tej K Bhat observed that during the last 28 years of forced exile, the community children were guided & nurtured towards nation building activities in the most adverse conditions, highlighting the intrinsic spiritual awareness bestowed with the blessing of Lord Shiva.
