Awareness programme on Civil Defence organized 2/23/2018 10:27:33 PM Jammu, Feb 23: One day awareness programme was held at Govt. Gandhi Memorial Science College, Canal Road, Jammu which was organized by Civil Defence, Jammu under the guidance of Addl. Director General of Police, HG / Civil Defence & SDRF, J&K and close supervision of Dy. SP Krishan Singh, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. In the awareness camp the students were given the knowledge of First Aid (CPR, Chocking, and Emergency Methods. Dr. Satinder Singh, Principal Govt. Gandhi Memorial Science College, Canal Road, Jammu highly appreciated the role of Civil Defence and requested to conduct such awareness programmes in future also. Dr. Rabia Javed Convener, NSS also present on this occasion. At least 100 NSS Volunteers and staff members of Govt.
