Pir Panchal Youth Parliament castigates Govt for its 'failure' to stop Pak aggression
3/1/2018 9:59:30 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 1: Secretary General of Pir Panjal Youth Parliament Qazi Abrar Ahmed today chided at the Government for not having strength to stop Pakistan from violating ceasefire along the borders of Pir Panjal and Samba-Kathua region.
Qazi said that Pakistani Rangers are regularly resorting to mortar shelling along the LoC in the Balnoi, Krishna Ghati (KG), Chhajla, Gohlad, Balakote, Tarkundi Gali, Lambi Bari, Khorinar, Akhnoor, RS Pura, Arnia and Ramgarh sectors of Poonch, Rajouri, Samba and Kathua districts.
He further stated that the people of area are witnessing heaviest mortar shelling by Pakistan army after a gap of many decades. As records suggest, 2017 is also the bloodiest for the security forces as well as people residing along the LoC. He said, 11 security personnel and nine civilians were killed and over 75 others injured in Pakistani shelling along the LoC and the International Border (IB) in Jammu division since the beginning of this years. Closing of schools is now a daily routine, road connectivity is disturbed, medical arrangements for injured are not appropriate, household is badly affected, people are forced to migrate from their origin, children and lad's life is stressful and in exchange of all this, our government only states that the Indian Army is retaliating strongly and effectively. He lambasted that the government must move beyond platitudes & hold Pakistan accountable and not to shadow the Defence Forces for their own political motivated agendas.
Lastly, he urged the government to constitute a credible and decisive policy to tackle Pakistan and to maintain the tranquillity in these annoyed areas.
