JAMMU, Mar 1: A Single Bench of Jammu and Kashmir High Court has permitted the Petitioner/ Students to appear in the Para Medical Sciences examinations, which is scheduled to be commenced from 04.03.2018.
Counsel for the petitioners submitted that on an earlier occasion also, a Bench of this Court had passed an interim order on 28.07.2017, by which the petitioners were permitted to take the examination, which was scheduled to be held from 30.07.2017, however, the petitioners could not appear in the aforesaid examination, as the petitioners could not receive the certified copy of the order in time. On the other hand, counsel for the respondents submitted that the petitioners were not registered with the Para Medical Council of State, therefore, they could not be permitted to appear in the examination.
Justice Alok Aradhe held that in view of the submissions made and taking into account that the Bench of this Court on an earlier occasion by an order dated 28.07.2017 had permitted the petitioners to appear in the examination, it is directed that the petitioners shall be permitted to appear in the examination in question, which is scheduled to be commenced from 04.03.2018.
Justice Alok Aradhe held that the mere appearance of the petitioners in the examination will not create any right in favour of the petitioners and their result shall not be declared without leave of this Court. |
