JAMMU, Mar 3: Ch. Manmohan Singh, Vice Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Medical Supplies Corporation Ltd surprise visit in Provincial Drug Ware House, Jammu alongwith Managing Director, JKMSCL, Inderjeet Bhagat, Director, Health Services Jammu, Dr. Gurjeet Singh, Medical Officers, and other concerned officers of the JKMSCL.
Vice- Chairman has checked the stock position of Provincial Drug Ware House Jammu and directed the MD, JKMSCL to take up the matter with R&B Department to estimate and renovate the Provincial Drug Ware House Jammu immediately so that the Medicines may not get fungus.
Vice-Chairman, JKMSCL has strictly instructed the staff to issue the supply of Drugs and Medicines as per the requisitions after the Board Verification to the concerned quarters within a week time positively and the stock position shall be online, so that the Drugs & Medicines in the Drug Ware House Jammu available shall be known by the end users.
Further, they were asked not to shelf the expiry medicine in the Drug Ware House at any costs, if any expiry Drugs/Medicines found responsibility will be theirs. Further, VC, JKMSCL has also asked to MD, JKMSCL to immediately purchase ILR for Temperature Controlled Medicines.
Director, Health Services Jammu also discussed the burning issued with Vice- Chairman, JKMSCL and VC has assured the Director that valuable suggestions may improve the Corporation supply in the coming future effectively.
Vice- Chairman has issued the instruction to the concerned staff of Provincial Drug Ware House Jammu that the employees shall take serious note for performance of their duties honestly and pass an order that the vehicles stand by in the Drug Ware House Jammu shall be immediately shifted to the Regional Drug Ware Nagrota.
Then, Vice-Chairman, JKMSCL has visited in Corporate Office, JKMSCL and checked the day to day working of the Corporation wherein Managing Director, JKMSCL has directed to look into the matter that the supply of Drugs and Medicines should be supplied in time at any cost and those items whose Rate Contracts are not finalized shall be finalized immediately and steps shall be taken to finalize the Rate Contracts of the said items. Ch. Manmohan Singh, Vice-Chairman, JKMSCL has discussed the issue related to suppliers payments/liabilities and directed to Kulbushan Kumar, Financial Advisor/CAO, JKMSCL examine the financial matters, so that the functioning of the Corporation to be improved. |
