DM asks SP Kishtwar to act against HSS leader

Kishtwar, Mar 9: Taking strong note of misinformation campaign launched by the locals Hindustan Shiv Sena leader, District Magistrate Kishtwar, Angrez Singh Rana today asked SP Kishtwar to take strict action under section 182 RPC against Tilak Raj S/O Bhabi Chand R/O Village Zewar Tehsil and District Kishtwar who happens to be the leader of Hindustan Shiv Sena for spreading false information against the working of Doctors of District Hospital Kishtwar.
As per the details available with Early Times, order issued by District Magistrate Kishtwar under No. DMK/17/690-91 and dated 08-3-2018 ,mentions that the above named person informed him telephonically on 27-02-2018 at 11:10 am and complained that all the wings of the OPD in District Hospital Kishtwar were non functional due to unavailability of Doctors.
Meanwhile, DM immediately rushed and visited the District Hospital Kishtwar and found that all the wings of the District hospital were functioning properly and Doctors were found performing their duties except one who was on leave.
District Magistrate has observed that the complainant had misinformed regarding the functioning of Doctors in the District Hospital Kishtwar with an intention to malign the image of the Doctors for reasons well known to him.
Keeping in view the false information conveyed telephonically by Tilak Raj, the DM has taken action under section 182 of RPC and referred the case to the SSP Kishtwar for taking immediate cognizance under relevant section of Ranbir Panel Code.
Moreover, District Magistrate Kishtwar, has urged upon the public of District Kishtwar not to provide any false information/complaints. Local people have appreciated the step taken by the District Magistrate Kishtwar.
It is pertinent to mention that the accused person earlier was also found spreading hate massages on social media with an ulterior motives to disturb the peace and tranquility in the area.
