| JRP accuses coalition government of pursuing wrong plans in Jammu region | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 9: Jammu Republic Party (JRP) has expressed shock over the alleged wrong plans of the state government to change the demography of Jammu region. A protest against the state government was attended by youth at Press Club of Jammu.
Rohit Chaudhary, President JRP said that the recent exposures in the press that the Government has issued instructions which insulate Tribal Land 'grabbers' especially Gujjar Bakerwals encourages land grab without any fear of any penal action is a danger. He said Jammu province is being destroyed from within with the involvement and support of BJP which will not be allowed.
"The JRP expresses deep anger and anguish over the changing of demographic character of Jammu by promoting and enforcing Islamic- Fascist agenda and involvement and support of the state government. CM Mehbooba Mufti herself is promoting this agenda clearly showing where her heart lies," said Rohit.
Rohit said that people of Jammu especially youth will rise and protest and will defeat the nefarious design of the government against the demographic invasion be it through the settlement of Bangladeshi-Rohingya Muslims or fraudulent land grab through Gujjar-Bakerwals. He said the matter should be looked by Ministry of Home, Government of India as it will create an atmosphere which can lead to communal disturbance.
"The state government has been turned into a frontline instrument to wage war against the interest of people of Jammu and the Nation. BJP-PDP alliance is forcing BJP to keep silence which has an impact of the secular fabric of Jammu," said Rohit. |
