Coalition Government failed miserably on all fronts: Pawan
3/11/2018 10:39:38 PM
Early Times Report

Udhampur, Mar 11: In order to commemorate 10th Death Anniversary of Sher-e-Duggar Jan Nayak Lala Shiv Charan Gupta Ji a mammoth rally was organized by Lala Shiv Charan Gupta Yaadgar Sammiti at Udhampur.
Thousands of people from all walks of life assembled in Mini Stadium Udhampur and started in the shape of rally under the leadership of Pawan Kumar Gupta MLA Udhampur constituency passing through Gole Market, Mukerji Bazar, Ramnagar Chowk, Hospital Road, Sailan Talab and Venus Chowk, covering more than two KMs and finally culminated at Nand Palace Udhampur.
While addressing the workers' Conference Pawan Kumar Gupta said he was bound to follow the path of Late Lala Shiv Charan Gupta ji in raising forcefully the voice of Jammu region for which the people of Udhampur Constituency had given him the mandate.
Pawan Gupta highlighted the developmental works initiated by him in Udhampur Constituency and took to task the PDP-BJP Coalition Government which failed miserably on all fronts.
He further divulged that the people of Jammu Region had invested great hopes from BJP which came to power first time in history of the State but astonishingly the BJP has surrendered to PDP despite having huge mandate. He pointed out in the Rally with full detail that the present BJP-PDP regime has discriminated the people of Jammu Region in equitable distribution of Central funds, selections made by the J&K Public Service Commission & Service Selection Board, increase in PG Seats in Medical Colleges and appointment of SPOs.
While disseminating the details of developmental discrimination being meted out to Jammu Region by the present regime, he threw a challenge to the BJP to come on an open and live debate on the issue.
Pawan said that the State Government with the consent of the Central Government is providing Government jobs and Rs. 5.00 lac to next of kin of the slain stone palters putting premium on insurgency. BJP-PDP Government has released 10000 dreaded antinationals and pro-separatist Stone palters without realising its implications and impact on the security scenario and without any guarantee that they will not indulge again in anti national activities. The tame surrender of the BJP to the pro separatist PDP discerns from the fact that PDP has succeeded in getting the stone palters released whereas false cases registered against the nationalist agitators of Amar Nath land row from Jammu have not been withdrawn despite express agreement made between the Amar Nath land row agitators and the Hon'ble Governor. He also said that the entire Jammu is burning and causing huge discontentment among the Jammuites because of wrong and antinational policies adopted by the present dispensation. It is also worrisome that efforts are being made to sow the seeds of communal disharmony. He lamented that the BJP had failed to fulfil the promise of constituting a delimitation commission to provide adequate and fair representation to Jammu region and also failed to fulfil the promise of establishing of Sainik Colony and Kashmiri Pandit Colony in Kashmir Valley Pawan took strong note for letting down the Jammuites by the BJP.
