| Youth, student leaders come on single platform to fight for justice | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 11: A meeting of various student and youth leaders of different organizations held here at Akhnoor.
The main agenda of the meeting was to unite all youth and student leaders under one platform to fight for social and political justice to society.
During the meeting a healthy interactive discussion was held regarding the various issues. Speaking on the occasion Ranjit Singh highlighted the serious issue arising in J&K regarding the demographic change.
He said sudden changes in demography of J&K and support of state government in this is very serious issue which needs to be resisted strongly.
Vicky Bhau addressing youth said that technically and geographically Akhnoor deserves to be a district as it has larger area than many districts and higher population than many districts. He said that people are residing far away in hilly areas hence it is very inconvenient for them to get their work done from district office at Jammu.
In the meeting it was unanimously decided that a formal committee of Soch organization will be formed soon after the touring of all 3 Sub-Divisions of Akhnoor. It was also decided that this organization will aware youth, students and civil society across all villages and towns of Akhnoor. |
