| PHEWWA holds meeting, employees' problems discussed | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 12: A meeting of the PHE Workers Welfare Association (PHEWWA) held here today at Head Office.
Senior functionaries of the association met to discuss the present scenario and on the increasing day to day problems both of permanent employees and the daily wagers of the department.
The meeting was chaired by provincial general secretary of the association Subash Verma.
In the meeting all the members of the association expressed resentment against the PHE administration which they alleged has miserably failed to release the salaries of both permanent employees and the daily rated workers. It was further impressed that the PHE Division Akhnoor has failed to release even the salary of January month of this year.
Further expressing their concerns, the members criticized the delaying tactics of the PHE authorities which is not showing any seriousness to start the regularization process of the workers.
The DPC meeting has also not been conducted yet despite of repeated requests made to the Chief Engineer PHE Department Jammu by the leadership of the association from time to time, the members said. |
