| Residents of Ward No 5/6 demand action against anti-social elements | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, March 22: The residents of ward no 5 and 6 Jammu today convened a meeting to discuss the prevailing situation in Jammu for maintaining peace and communal harmony.
Speaking on the occasion, the spokesperson and religious heads of different religious sects appealed the people to maintain the peace and communal harmony in Jammu and asked the govt to take immediate steps to take preventive steps and act tough against those anti-social elements who want to disturb the peaceful atmosphere of Jammu.
As some persons said that some anti-social elements/history sheeter are using religious places specially in Jammu for their personal benefits and some persons who does not belong to Jammu and their records in social elements in that area is trying to grab the religious places for their personal benefits and work against the peaceful atmosphere of Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion Krishan Lal Gupta Senior Congress leader asked the people to maintain peace and communal harmony and pin point the anti-social elements who are working against the society they should be thrown out of the society. Ashiq hussain President Shia Federation also spoke and highlighted the achievement in maintaining peace and bhaichara in Jammu and suggested a coordination committee be constituted so that the social elements may not get benefit by grabbing the religious places. |
