ZEOs reluctant to clear pending ReT panels

Kishtwar, Mar 22: Despite clear directions from the government regarding the furnishing the list of Court cases of ReTs, the Zonal Education Officers of Kishtwar district are reluctant and casual towards furnishing the said details.
As per the details available with "Early Times", in order to clear all pending court cases, the Education Minister Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari had given the directions to concern officers to take up the matter on fast track basis and dispose of the cases in accordance with the law.
Following the directions from the minister, Public Law Officer at Directorate of School Education Jammu vide letter No. DSEJ/Legal/16447-56 Dated 17-03-2018 directed all the Chief Education Officers of Jammu Division to furnish the list of court cases which include SWPs/Contempts/LPAs/SLPs in ReTs as on date and all the CEO has further been directed to submit the same within 5 days, but despite clear cut directions, the ZEOs of Kishtwar District fails to submit the details of these cases which raise the finger of suspicious and intension of the officials who are unnecessary delaying such cases since years together.
Taking strong note of delay on part of the ZEOs in Kishtwar District, I/C CEO Kishtwar Javed Ahmed Kichloo vide letter No. CEO/K/2018/SSA/13553-63 Dated 22-3-2018 directed all the ZEOs of Kishtwar District to furnish the details by 2 PM tomorrow positively for onwards submission to higher authorities. He directed all the officials to submit the details well on time and in case of failure an action as warranted will be initiated against those officials who fail to compliance the said directions.
