| CEO pays surprise visit to schools, initiates action against erring officials | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Mar 21: The Chief Education Officer, Kathua Nirmal Choudhary today paid surprise visit in different schools of Sallan and Billawar zone and initiated disciplinary action against erring officials besides issuing directions to the management for smooth functioning of schools.
During his visit a master namely Shashipal Sharma of GMS Thein from Sallan zone was found unauthorizedly on leave. The Chief Education Officer took a strict note of this and issued directions to ZEO Sallan for withholding salary of the said master. He also called an explanation of the master. He said that it is high time for teaching community to work for welfare of students and also do their best for increasing roll of the students in government schools.
He added that he will not tolerate any sort of leniency when it relates with students and their future is put at stake. He told that he will continue such surprise visits and inspections to take stock of ground situation of working of government schools in Kathua district. |
