Jammu, Mar 22: The Inter zonal District Level tournament under RAMSA in the sports discipline of volley ball, Kho-Kho girls U/17 yrs. Concluded here at Government HSS Domana today.
In all the 201girls drawn all the zones of the district Jammu took part in the tournaments. The tournaments were organized by the department of Youth Services & Sports district Jammu. Later on Mohd. Amin Mirza, Principal of Model HSS Domana in the presence of ZPEO's Sher Singh, Jasbir Singh, Kiran Jyoti, Chander Kanta, Veena Tickoo distributed the trophies among the 1st/2nd and 3rd position holders of Volleyball and Kho- Kho girls U/17 yrs. While addressing the participants the chief guest said, sports and games are essential parts for development of students. He further said that healthy body possess healthy brain and sports is the only medium by which one can have sound mind in a sound body. |
