Bhadarwah, Apr 4: NGO Youth Action Committee Bhadarwah along with locals today staged protest against state government amid raising anti slogans and blocked the main road for few hours.
They alleged that, due to non-availability of Gynecologist in Sub District Hospital Bhadarwah poor public are suffering alot as they coming from the town and far flug areas are disappointed when they see No doctors is available. After that they have to go jammu or Doda jeopardising the life of a patient.
People also raised slogans against the Health Minister, administration and demanded immediate deployment of the gynecologist in the Hospital as well as para-medical staff in Bhaderwah They alleged that new Sub District Hospital Bhaderwah was set up to provide quality medicare to people of the area but it is quite dismaying to note that this state-of-the-art hospital has failed to live to the expectations of people.
This is due to a number of reasons which include shortage of doctors and para medical staff. Besides, the patients who can be treated at this hospital are reffered to either District Hospital Doda or to GMC Jammu.
Later, Police arrested Youth Action Committee President Naseer Mehboob along with two dozens youth leaders from Domail area of Bhaderwah where they were holding protest against tge shortage of doctors especially Gynocologist. |
