DBPS to celebrate Parsuram Jayanti

Jammu, Apr 4: Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha (DBPS) Parade has decided to celebrate Bhagwan Parsuram Jayanti with religious fervor and gaiety.
Addressing a press conference, President of the DBPS, Ved Parkash Sharma toldmedia persons that the religious programs will commence on April 8 with Shobha Yatra. This yatra will be taken out from Govt. High School for boys, Satwari Jammu Cantt at 10 AM en route Jammu city and culminateat Sabha Bhawan at 12 Noon. A large number of people from different walks of life will participate in the yatra. Sharma said that Pooja Archaana of Bhagwan Parsuram Ji shall be performed before the beginning of the Sobha Yatra. Various distinguished guests is likely to attend the function and to seek the blessing of Bhagwan Parsuram Ji.
The main function shall be held on 18 th of April 2018, the day of Bhagwan Parsuram Jayanti in premises with enthusiasm and fervor. Function in which Yagyopaveet, Pujan of Bhagwan Parsram will be performed by theVedic scholars. On 22th of April 2018, a free medical camp shall also organized in Sabha premises in which aprominent cardiologist Dr. Susheel Sharma along with his team of doctors shall provide free consultations and medicines to needy person. The Sabha has invited applications from the young Hindu boys to get Yagyopaveet Sanskar performed. Theapplications for the purpose should reach at the office of DBPS Prade Jammu before15th of April 2018, headded. The Sabha appealed the people of the State from different walks of life to participate in large numbers toseek blessings of Lord Parsuram Ji.
