DPS Jammu welcomes New Session2018-19

AKHNOOR, Apr 6: A special assembly was conducted at DPS Jammu to welcome students to the next new class and the new session 2018-19, which was attended by students from primary, middle and senior wings and all faculty members. The assembly began with the hosting of the DPS School flag by the Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra, followed by the singing of the school song "We of DPS, We from DPS", soaring high the spirits of teachers and students. While addressing the gathering, Principal DPS Jammu Ruchi Chabra said that the past success should encourage us to achieve more and if there were any failures, these should encourage us to improve more.
She exhorted the gathering to take a pledge to work hard despite any weaknesses or flaws and to follow proper code of conduct in the school.
She encouraged all to work together to keep the school flag flying high with full splendor and glory. Earlier, staff and students observed two minutes silence in the memory of Shiviya Shehdev, dear student of class XII who passed away last month due to prolonged illness.
The school Management-President-RCT, M K Ajatshatru Singh Kunwrani Ritu Singh, Director, S.S Sodhi and V K Shunglu Chairman DPS Society, New Delhi, also extended their best wishes to the entire DPS Family for the New Session.
