KPC aghast over New Delhi's `weak' policy on Kashmir

New Delhi, Apr 10: Kashmiri Pandit Conference ( KPC) in a meeting at New Delhi today strongly reacted to weak policy of central government on Kashmir as well as ignoring basic rights and genuine demands of Kashmiri Pandits in exile from the last 29 years.
Kundan Kashmiri, President KPC while addressing his activists and supporters said that pusillanimous and weak Kashmir policy of central Government.
He said it has further aggravated the situation in the valley and also succumbing under the propaganda and violence unleashed by handful separatists, pseudo--secularists and pro--Pak agents in the valley has questioned the will and determination of the center Govt.
While rejecting any out of box decision for so--called Kashmir issue which will take Kashmir away from India or weaken the writ of Indian nation over Kashmir, Kundan Kashmiri stated that Kashmir belongs to all Kashmiris in-particular of Kashmiri Pandits who are aborigines of the valley from the last five thousand years and any decision on Kashmir has direct bearing and effect on the KP community.
He said the army, security forces and Kashmiri Pandits in particular have given lot of sacrifices to uphold the unity and integrity of the nation, so weakening the writ and constitutional authority over Kashmir in not acceptable to all nationalist forces, in particular Kashmiri Pandit community.
He questioned politicians at the helm of affairs at the state and the center for allowing Pandits to live as refugees in their own country.
Kundan Kashmiri appealed to the Prime Minister to listen to the vows and demands of Kashmiri Pandit community and rehabilitate them as per their wishes and aspirations in the Kashmir valley.
KPC in the meeting also supported the Bandh call given by Jammu Bar Association on April 11, 2018
