Stones won't get 'azadi,' Pak stooges selling dreams

Early Times Report
Jammu, April 10: Additional Director General of Central Reserve Police Force for J&K zone V S K Kaumudi has made it clear that stone-pelters won't be spared and the security forces would continue to use the pellets till people don't stop throwing stones.
An expert while talking to Early Times said the people in Kashmir who support the stone-pelting and instigate the youth to pelt stones should realize that by doing so they are pushing youngsters towards graveyards. "People who assemble near the encounter sites and try to help the terrorists are as good as terrorists for the security forces," he said.
The expert said that Army Chief Bipin Rawat had made it clear that long ago that people who would help terrorists would be treated as anti-nationals. He (Army Chief) had even asked the people to stay away from the encounter sites. "People who instigate youth to pelt stones don't lose anything. It's the youth who lose their lives and end up in graves," he said, adding, "These youth should realize that they are choosing life over death and resorting to stone pelting won't get them Azadi."
A Kashmir watcher said, "The people who die near the encounter sites or resort to stone-pelting usually belong to the families from lower income groups. The separatists and the people who orchestrate these street protests never come on the forefront. In such situations they look for the safe passages and run away. These people come forward later to lead the funeral prayers. These Pak stooges seem to have been assigned a job to lead the funeral prayers of youth after turning them into cannon fodder."
He said that ADG CRPF has driven home a point and has made it clear that people of Kashmiri have to choose between peace and violence. "It's high time for people to realize that the ones who have been showing them the Azadi dreams are nothing more than the dream merchants and Azadi is nothing but an illusion."
An analyst said, "Besides handing over guns to youth in Kashmir Pakistan has handed them stones also so that they avenge the defeats which Pakistan army faced in the past in the battle fields."
He said, "Pak army knows it very well that if it gets involved in a conventional war with Indian army it won't be able to even hold the fort for one month also. So it's using Kashmiris to fight its proxy war. Kashmir has been turned into a battle field and its people have become tools. How unfortunate!"
