GDC Ramnagar organizes workshop on EDP

Ramnagar, Apr 10: The BBA Department of Government Degree College Ramnagar organized a two day workshop on Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP). Principal of the College Prof. Brinder Singh Chib was the Chief Guest. Prof. Sunil Bhardwaj and Prof Rohit Bhagat from The Business School, Baderwah Campus, University of Jammu, were the resource persons for the program. Around Twenty nine members of the various Faculty and Sixty Three students across different Disciplines from the GDC Ramnagar, Ramnagar Campus of Jammu and Govt. Modal Higher Secondary School, Ramnagar University Modal Higher Secondary School, Ramnagar registered and participated in the workshop. The program started with the lighting of the lamp followed by Welcome Adress by Dr. Pankaj Sharma, Convener, Internal quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the College.
He apprised all present about the mission and vision behind conducting such a kind of program. After this the highlights of the program were brought out by the Convener of the Workshop Prof. Shiv Kumar, HoD BBA, who introduced all present to the theme and significance of conducting such a Workshop; where the employment generation is more important than seeking employment. In their Interactive expert talks and deliberations the resource persons Prof. Sunil Bhardwaj and Prof. Rohit Bhagat conducted four different sessions on Time management, Entrepreneurship, Digital Marketing and Supply Chain Management respectively, which was practically worked on by the participants. The resource persons also conducted some simulation programs.
