Jammu, Apr 10: The Govt. S.P.M.R. College of Commerce, a Constituent College of Cluster University of Jammu hosted first LinkedIn Local event, organized by professionals who strongly believe in the power of LinkedIn as a treasured networking tool.
The students from three constituent colleges of Cluster University of Jammu i.e., Govt. SPMR College, GGM Science College and GCOE attended the event. LinkedIn Local is an initiative by Anna McAfee who recognized the need for human interaction and created an opportunity by taking action. This event was organized with the objective of connecting the professionals in Jammu to the International Professional Community and established relationships through LinkedIn based on authenticity, respect and collaboration and unlock the door to a prosperous and sustainable living.
The event began with the lighting of the traditional ceremonial lamp by the co-hosts at Cluster University of Jammu. During the event, the participants were connected to international professionals Sam P. Lark, Motivational speaker Atlanta U.S.A. and Fateh Ali, CEO Founder Collabu Technologies who updated the participants with LinkedIn sharing best practices, social connectivity etc.
This event has put Jammu on the world map and showcased the powerhouse of its youth and professionals ready to lead the way.
Those who attended the Interactive Exercise on Networking and Connectivity included Prof. Neeraj Sharma (Staff secretary), Prof. Jasmeen Moughal, Prof. Suman Charak and others.
The prizes of activities were sponsored by Gem Opticals and Nazakat Makeover Studio. Prof. Bharti Slathia, cohosts of the event presented the vote of thanks. The students volunteers who helped in organizing the event included Mannat Gupta, Pardhuman Malhotra, Saksham Gupta and Mansi. |
