| MVI School organizes career counseling | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, April 10: Pre Admission Counseling Session was held for parents and students at MV International School today. The session was organized in collaboration with SRM University. Gourav Abrol, Director MVIS, all parents and students who are moving from class 10th to 11th attended the daylong session and participated in the discussions with great enthusiasm. Mehran Alam, Manager SRM Group threw light onb various upcoming courses and possible career options, he discussed about the non-conventional careers with the audiences. Earlier K.L. Dogra Principal MVIS steered the session, urging students to select streams according to aptitude as well as attitude and not merely in peer or parental pressure. Gourav Abrol, Director MVIS appreciated the parents and the students for their concern and presence for the session. He raised the consciousness levels of the gathering by his discussions about the right choices to be made by the children for a bright future ahead. He insisted that students should plan their career by knowing more about career of choice, emerging trends and career path. Monika Bogal, Coordinator MVIS discussed about conventional courses and various steps involved in career planning. In the end subject options after class 10th and various rules and regulations were discussed with the students and parents and list of students for admission in various streams was released. |
