PCC wins Exhibition T20 Match

JAMMU, Apr 10: Patel Cricket Club (PCC) registered emphatic win against the Media Cricket Eleven in the "Exhibition T20 Cricket Match", which played at Parade Cricket Ground here today.
The Exhibition T20 Cricket Match between Patel Cricket Club and Media Eleven was organized by Patel Cricket under the Supervision of Vijay Sharma, Secretary of the Patel Club.
Jung Bahadur Singh, President Patel Club and member JKCA was the Chief Guest whereas Vijay Sharma Secy. Patel Club, Rajesh Gill Chief Prosecuting Officer and Vijay Saberwal President Parade Sports Association Jammu were the guests of honour whereas Ajay Thakur Captain of the J&K Blind Cricket team was the special invitee as Special Guest on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest Jung Bahadur Singh lavished all praise for the organizing team for conducting the exhibition match on the pattern of IPL at Jammu before the start of the First Patel Memorial T20 Invitational Cup.
The Chief Guest Jung Bahadur Singh also appreciated the Organizing team for inviting the Captain of J&K Blind Cricket team as a Special guest in today's exhibition match.
The Chief Guest and other dignitaries distributed the trophies to the runners and winners. The Special Guest Ajay Thakur Captain of the J&K Blind Cricket team was also honoured with the memento by the Chief Guest.
Vijay Sharma Secy of the Patel club informed the participating media and other players that on tomorrow the inauguration function of the Patel Memorial Cricket Cup shall be held at 10 am and all are invited .
In the match Patel Cricket Club defeated Police Eleven by 4 wickets
Batting first, Patel Club scored 141 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs . Subrat Sharma was the main scorer with 64 48 runs whereas Sahil Malohtra made 57 runs for the team. From Media XI Desraj, Kewal and Ranjeet took 1 wicket each. In reply Media XI manage to score 62 runs by losing all wickets thus lost the match by 79 runs. Rahul 16,Ranjeet 14 and Sahil 10 were the main scorers. From Bowling Side Sahil took 4 wickets, Kunal took 3 wickets and Sachin took 2 wickets.
Sahil Malhotra from Patel Cricket Club was adjudged the man of the match award for his super batting.
The match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain, Amit Gupta and Sanju.
