JAMMU, Apr 27 : Vishal Rising Stars registered win against Sehwag Cricket Academy and entered in finals in the ongoing "1st Patel memorial T20 Invitational Cup for under 16 boys", which is being played at Parade Cricket Ground here today.
1st Patel memorial T20 Invitational Cup is being organized by Patel Cricket under the aegis of JKCA at Parade Ground Jammu . The event is being organized under the Supervision of Jung Bahadur Singh Jamwal President Patel Club & Vijay Sharma, Secretary of the Patel Club.
Today in the second semi final match Vishal Rising Stars defeated Sehwag Cricket Academy by 10 wickets.
Batting first, Sehwag Cricket Academy scored 123 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs . Achintya 44 , Toushar 17 and Arsh 12 runs were the main scorer .
From bowling Side, Aditpal Singh and Praful shared 2 wickets each .
In reply Vishal Rising Stars chased the target in 12.3 overs without losing any wicket thus won the match by 10 wickets. Musaif Aijaz with 72 runs and Rohan Gill with 36 runs were the main scorers of Vishal Rising Stars. Musaif Aijaz was declared man of the match for his super batting.
Ramesh Kotwal SP Headquarters Jammu was the Chief Guest he was introduced with the participating team.
While interaction with the players he advised the players to be dedicated ,disciplined towards the game and work hard.
The match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain, Vinod and Rahul Kumar.
The final matches of both seniors and u-16 shall be played on Sunday informed by Rajesh Gill Organizing Committee member.
