Students seek Education Minister's intervention

JAMMU, Apr 27: One of the oldest institutions of Chenab Valley at Binoon Bunjwah sans staff , lecturers from the past one year.
Despite tall claimd by the Education Minister Altaf Bukhari , to provide basic educational facilities at door step, the school craves for badic amenities.
Students said the school has no levturers to teach no-medical and medical subjects from the start of the session this year.
A student of class 12th said that we have not yet read a single question of various subjects as no appointment of lecturers was made by Director School Education Jammu and Chief Education Officer Kishtwar and our future is at in stake.
The I/C Principal of said eleven posts of lecturers are sanctioned of which three are appointed on permanent basis and four are Adhoc.
He added four posts are of Physics, Botany, Chemistry are vacant.
He further added that two posts of teachers and one Master grade is lying vacant.
It is important to mention that more than 450 students have sought admission from 9th to 12th among which 190 students are in 11th and 12th classes.
The parents at a meeting with I/C Principal decided to raise the issue with CEO Kishtwar.
Meanwhile, the students sought intervention of education ministrt and director school education.
