| Bunjwah RDD signboards rust in open | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 27: The signboards of rural development department (RDD) of block Bunjwah are lying in the open for the past two years thus busting the myth of development and transparency.
Insiders informed that officials and officers of Block Bunjwah failed to take up developmental works. According to them, works taken by job card holders are without payments as the financial year ends.
They further added that State and Center Governments had launched various schemes for job card holders to execute works within a radius of 5km but unfortunately the concerned authorities failed to implement and aware the general masses about these schemes.
The authorities even failed to install the signboards in Panchayats of block Bunjwah for transparency.
Local urged upon Assistant Commissioner Development to take a strong note of this issue and direct concerned authorities to bring transparency so that the job card holders avail benefits of government schemes. |
