What does Hr look for in an employee????
4/27/2018 10:28:12 PM
Dr. Pinky Goswami

New research shows
that 88% Employers are looking for a "cultural fit" over skills in their next hire. No HR is going to spend the company's money on someone who they think is going to be difficult to work with. To be a "cultural fit", is a core part of one's Personality. How can you be a cultural fit??? Cultural fit is having shared and aligned values and mission in the workplace. It's accepting and owning the beliefs, behavior and personality that are consistent with the company's mission. Cultural fit is displayed through language and communication, through daily work Ethic and integration of your work with your lifestyle.
Professionalism, Energy and Confidence are some more key traits hunted by HR in an individual. The first few seconds of an interview is extremely crucial. These few seconds are enough for HR to understand and gauge the candidate. The impact is made through the clothes one wears to the way one stands to the grip of the first hand-shake. Now another thought that comes here is, if one does not possess that kind of a personality, can it be developed or is personality a genetic factor? Let us clear this question, personality is formed during childhood and is shaped through an interaction of two factors, their inherited tendencies and their environment. Inherited tendencies are aspects of your personality passed on by parents.
Personality basically has three components: Temperament, environment, and character
1.Temperament is genetically determined.2. Environment (family, school and society) plays an important role in the development of personality.3. Finally, the third component of personality is character-the set of emotional, cognitive, and behavioral patterns learned from experience that determines how a person thinks, feels, and behaves.
Development of personality quintessentially means enhancing and grooming one's external and internal self to bring about a positive change to life. Every individual possesses an unique persona that can be developed, polished and refined. This process involves boosting of confidence, improving communication and language speaking abilities, widening scope of knowledge, developing certain hobbies or skills, learning fine etiquettes and manners, adding style and grace to the way one looks, talks and walks and overall imbibing self with positivity, liveliness and peace.
Personality Development is not an impossible task and the personality development classes show the way it can be done. 1Wellness Clinic Gurgaon work towards creating and developing the Personality as required to be successful in the corporate world today. It grooms you to become a Leader in every aspect.
