Jammu, Apr 27: Principal Secretary to Govt., Higher Education Deptt. Dr.Asgar Hassan Samoon, IAS, released the first ever issue of quarterly research journal "JK Journal of Architecture and Engineering Sciences" at GCET, Jammu today along with Dr. Sameru Sharma, Principal GCET Jammu, Dr. Ramesh Chander, Principal Govt. MAM College and Ar. V.K. Pant, Chief Architect, Architect Organisation (J&K).
Principal Secretary to Govt., Higher Education Deptt. Dr.Asgar Hassan Samoon, IAS, while speaking on the occasion highlighted the importance of research in technical institutions.
Earlier in her Welcome address Dr. Sameru Sharma, Principal GCET, Jammu apprised the gathering about the importance of research and also the key features of this journal. JK Journal of Architecture and Engineering is a quarterly research journal which shall provide an intellectual platform to the teachers, scholars and students of Architecture and Engineering to explore the universe of technological advancements through intensive research, discussions and debate.
The editorial board also includes Dr. Sameru Sharma, Mr. Rauf Ahmad Khan, Dr. Simmi Dutta, Ar. Aditya Kumar Singh, Ar.(Dr.) Sandeep Sankat and Ar. Sameer Hamdani. |
