| 2 lady drug peddlers held with heroin | | | Early Times Report
Kathua May 17: Two lady drug peddlers held with 4.5 gram heroin 14 litres of illicit liquor from their possession.
Police spokesman said that acting sternly against drug menace, a team of Police Post Nagri led by SI Vikas Jasrotia during patrolling duty in chak Drab Khan area, arrested two ladies with heroin and illicit liquor.
They were identified as Paramjit and Rekha Devi both residents of Chak Drab Khan. Police recovered 4.5 grams heroin and 14 liters of Illicit liquor from their possession.
Police registered a case under FIR No 170/2018 under sections 8,21,22 NDPS Act 48(a) Excise Act at Police Station Kathua.
Meanwhile, in another incident today a team of Police Post Nagri conducted raid in Kulian area of Nagri and booked 3 gamblers along with Rs 4480 stake money and playing cards.
Police identified the arrested gamblers as Ashwani Kumar, Surinder both residenst of Chack Dhrab Khan, Kathua and Rony Sharma of Ward no. 6 Kathua.
The trio were booked under 13 Gambling Act and further investigation is going on. |
