| Workshop on Basic Hindi Reading, Writing concludes | | |  Early Times Report
Poonch, May 17: Ten day workshop on Basic Hindi Reading and Writing concluded at Government Degree College Thannamandi. The workshop was aimed at teaching the students basic skills in reading and writing Hindi.
This workshop was the second in a series of earlier workshops based on the same theme which was organized last year by this college.
Principal of the college, Prof. (Dr.) Shakeel Ahmad Raina presided over the valedictory function of the workshop.
Speaking on the occasion, he highlighted the importance of learning the National Language of India.
He also pointed out that learning of languages is not restricted to any community, and learning Hindi will open up new avenues of knowledge. Dr. Shamim Ahmed Azaz (HOD Botany) and Dr. Arun Sharma (HOD Physics) also gave their views and congratulated the patron as well as the whole organizing team for their efforts for the successful completion of the workshop.
Participants and delegates also gave their feedback on the workshop and thanked the organizers for helping them learn the basics of National language.
Principal of the college along with other senior staff members awarded the certificates of participation of the workshop to the delegates. |
