China's advice to Pak to shift Hafiz Saeed to new country may not be rejected
Behind the veil

Early Times Report

Jammu, May 26: Birds of same feather flock together ..This applies to the friendship between China and Pakistan following international pressure on Islamabad to impose restrictions on Hafiz Saeed, who is involved in masterminding the Mumbai carnage in 2008.Called international terrorist declared by the UN and backed by the US and India, who has on his head five million dollars is in trouble as Pakistan has come under pressure to arrest him and place curbs on his movement.
In this context China has suggested to Pakistan to send Saeed to some West-Asian country in order to save Islamabad from mounting international pressure. This suggestion has been dished out by none other than the Chinese President Ji Xinping during the current visit of Pakistan Prime Minister to Beijing.Let the world find out Saeed after he is relocated to some west Asian country and thereby Pakistan would remain under no pressure.
Pakistan Prime Minister is reported to have informed the Chinese President that on returning to Pakistan he will set up a legal committee to find ways and means for relocating Saeed to some other country. And since Abbasi is to complete his tenure by the end of current month and in July the General Election is to take place the issue may be left to the new Government.
And if some fundamentalist or extremist assumed power in Pakistan the Chinese President's suggestion may not be implemented because he may treat Saeed an important figure for protecting the integrity and sovereignty of Pakistan. But will the new Government in Islamabad dare to oppose Ji Xinping ? Any new establishment in Islamabad may not dare to oppose China on he plea that after having faced isolation China is the only trusted friend of Pakistan. After Pakistan faced isolation on charge of creating safe havens for terrorists of various hues and for exporting terror to India Islamabad has to bank on the support of China. Military and economic aid from China is one thing that Pakistan cannot afford to lose and China does not want to end its friendship with Pakistan because Islamabad has allowed China to establish its military bases for countering any attack on China by Russia or by the US. This way Islamabad needs to improve its cooperation and cordial ties with Beijing and without losing the support from China Pakistan is in a position to dictate terms to India.Once China snaps ties with Pakistan Islamabad may stop dictating terms to New Delhi because without support from China Pakistan cannot afford to measure muscles with India on the border by way of resorting to repeated ceasefire violations.
Pakistan considers any suggestion or advice from China as sacred as direction from scriptures. And even if the new establishment assumes power in Islamabad it cannot ignore the suggestion from China. This way the days for Hafiz Saeed are numbered in Pakistan and the only way for him to shift to some west-Asian country may be the only way for him to spare the gallows. And once the new establishment forces Saeed out of Pakistan it would be an end to his dream of floating a poltical organisation for contesting the election.
