BJP's 'new found love' for terrorists, separatists puts security forces in tight spot
Appeasing Kashmir centric leaders!

Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 26: The decision of the Government of India to announce ceasefire in Jammu and Kashmir has backfired.
Terrorists during the past few days have tried to attack army camps in Kashmir by hurling grenades. They even tried to cause massive civilian casualties in Jammu by hurling a grenade in the busy bus stand area.
A defence analyst told Early Times that the terror outfit Tehreek-e-Mujahideen claimed the responsibility for the Jammu grenade attack and termed ceasefire as "drama." "Security forces suspending operations against the terrorists have allowed ultras to regroup and move freely. They have even reached Jammu and are targeting civilians," he said. "It's a dangerous trend and needs to be reversed."
A Kashmir watcher said that since the day Centre has announced the ceasefire Pakistan has become hyperactive. It has been violating the ceasefire on borders and Line of Control and is targeting civilians. "Terrorists are trying to infiltrate into this side by crossing borders and the LoC. On Saturday Army killed five terrorists near the Line of Control in Kupwara district," he added.
A politician said that Kashmir centric leaders are trying to sell ceasefire as their biggest victory. "They are trying to create a notion that ceasefire would be extended. If it happens it can prove disastrous for Jammu and Kashmir and can pose a big challenge for the security forces in the times to come," he added.
He said it's an established fact that top BJP leaders went out of way to announce the ceasefire in Jammu and Kashmir just to appease the Kashmir centric leaders, especially its coalition partner Peoples Democratic Party. "One fails to understand that despite Pakistan and the terrorists sponsored by it unleashing terror in Jammu and Kashmir the BJP leaders are talking about peace and want to hold talks with everyone including the Pakistan stooges," he added.
Another analyst said, "It looks like that Centre too has started appeasing Pakistan and the separatists. BJP central leadership is toeing the line of the PDP and has started following a soft policy towards terror and terrorists."
"No one seems to be bothered about the plight of the Jammu border residents who stand displaced due to the Pakistan shelling and firing," he said. "It seems BJP government by turning soft towards terrorists and Pakistani agents is trying to keep the Kashmir centric leaders happy. They (BJP) leaders are playing with fire."
He said that BJP should understand that if it keeps on listening to the Kashmir centric politicians it would lose ground in Jammu, where it won 25 assembly seats in the last assembly elections.
