Rich Harvest School marks Investiture Ceremony

Jammu, May 26: Rich Harvest School, Bari Brahmana celebrated the Investiture ceremony for its senior classes on 26th May, 2018, investing its outstanding students as office bearers. It was a day imbued with a sense of pride, humility and leadership. After the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, Principal Ms. Anita Bhatia accorded a warm welcome to the Chief guest Thakur Gulchain Singh ji Charak and other distinguished guests. A scintillating saraswati Vandana enthralled the audience. In a sombre ceremony the old office bearers handed over their badges and sashes of responsibility to the Chief Guest making way for the new guard. The new Head boy Mridul and the new Head Girl Himani marched majestically to receive their mantle of responsibility from the Chief Guest. A total of 20 portfolios were given to the deserving students. It was a memorable moment for the newly elected student council to receive the badges & sashes for the esteemed Chief Guest. Students took the oath, they pledged that they would carry out their responsibilities with all earnestness & integrity. The Chief Guest , Thakur Gulchain Singh Charak in a motivating speech congratulated the newly elected council and motivated them to become trailblazers. He remarked that leadership is not about a title but truly reflects the trust and confidence that the students and teachers repose in the council. He appreciated the efforts of the school in providing opportunities to the students to shape up their personalities. He asked them to use these opportunities & balance them well with academics to excel in both.
