Katra, May 26: Fire yet again broke out on Saturday evening thus forcing the Shrine Borad authorities to suspend the pilgrimage via newly opened Tarakote marg and battery car track in Katra town of Reasi . Fire broke out again in the woods of Trikuta hill on Saturday evening, official sources here said.
They said that in view of devastating fire, the yatra registration counters were closed at 8.00 Pm while by that time more than 31,000 pilgrims had left the Katra base camp to perform yatra to the cave shrine . The yatra is in progress from old track , they said adding that after suspension of the yatra , pilgrims between 15,000 to 20000 are stranded at the base camp and will be aloowed only after the fire will be extinguished
