Early Times Report
Rajouri, May 27: Some influential doctors at Sub District Hospital Sunderbani are not discharging their duties properly and remain away from hospital for private practice during duty time. Astonishingly the concerned BMO has failed to take any action against the erring doctors.
They saif only a senior doctor is looking after the patients in emergency and rest of the doctors enjoying by skipping the duty due to their proximity with seniors in the health department and political approach.
Sources further said that it has been commonly observed that on every Sunday the doctors remain absent from hospital. "Today being Sunday, there was no doctor available in the hospital particularly in emergency ward from 8 AM to 9 AM, they come to hospital at their will. Doctors have also been seen misbehaving with patients to discourage them for visiting hospital," they alleged.
The people of the area alleged that many complaints against the messy state of affair in the Hospital have been lodged with the office of Chief Medical Officer Rajouri but it took no action and mal practice of the doctors is continued. "Although some doctors were suspended by the previous minister but nothing has changed which shows that the action of the government against the shirkers is just superficial," they alleged.
The people of the Rajouri have appealed the concerned Minister Dr DK Manyal, CMO Rajouri to take strict against erring doctors.
