| Influential employee 'rules' Ramban, no one can transfer him? | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 27: At least three Governments and over a Dozen Deputy Commissioners (DCs) have changed, but none of them could touch an 'influential employee' in Ramban district, who continues to serve in the same district.
According to sources, a state government official posted in Ramban district since last many decades is apparently immune to "transfer policy" of the government.
"The official is highly influential. Till date he has managed his stay at the same place despite change of three governments and dozen of deputy Commissioners," said sources adding that the official in question has adopted a new modus of operandi to remain in the same district.
If sources are to be believed, the official managed his transfer in different departments within stipulated time to remain out of sight but the transfer is only on papers.
Sources maintained that the employee in question has accumulated huge property which is in crores.
The employee, sources said, owns huge benami property in the shape of hotels, buildings houses and has also invested in real estate.
They maintained that the employee had created a firm in the name of a local girl and used to do all the illegal transactions from the account under that firm.
"Rent of all the building is also credited in the same account which is in lakhs annually", said sources adding that the employee also works as agent in various trades.
They said the accused employee was also suspended for issuing fake election cards in lieu of money. |
