Kishtwar, May 27: The Chief Judicial Magistrate granted bail to two protestors who were booked by Kishtwar Police for protests against the death of 48 year old woman who died allegedly due to medical negligence.
As per the details available with Early Times, Kishtwar police registered FIR against 5 protestors seeking justice for Shakeela Begum wife of Mohammad Iqbal Butt Resident of Sangrabata Kishtwar who died due to alleged medical negligence on 19th of this month following which a massive protest rocked Kishtwa . due to medical negligence.
The Police registered FIR. No 125/2018 Dated 20-5-2018 U/S 341/353/504/506/147 RPC against Fareed Ahmed son of Abdul Rashid Sheikh, Javed Ahmed son of Abdul Rashid Sheikh, Suhail Ahmed Sheikh son of Mohammad Salaam Sheikh, Najja an employee of NHPC son of not known & Zakir Hussain son Mohammad Iqbal Sheikh all resident of Sangrabata Kishtwar for alleged assault on ASI Manhattan Ram and SPO Lekh Raj beside use abusive language against the police.
Following the registration of an FIR, accused Suhail Ahmed and Nazir Ahmed moved a bail application in the Court of CJM Kishtwar through advocate Mohammad Azhar Shah. After hearing the Counsel of the accused, CJM Kishtwar granted bail to both, subject to furnishing of bail bonds to the tune of Rs. 20000 each.
